Midtown/Metro Volunteer Application

Welcome!  We are excited about your interest in volunteering as a tutor-mentor.  
No previous experience is necessary and the program includes ongoing tutor training.

There are no male volunteer opportunities this summer, please consider applying as a school year volunteer.

CHOOSE YOUR VOLUNTEER PREFERENCE
Commitment is for the School Year beginning end of September through early May.
  • One-on-One tutoring with a 3rd, 4th, or 5th grader (ONE): Tuesdays or Thursdays 6:00-8:00PM
  • Small group tutoring with 6th, 7th and 8th graders (MAP): Tuesdays or Wednesdays 6:00-8:00PM
  • Small group tutoring with 9th-12th graders (COP): Wednesdays or Thursdays 6:00-8:00PM


CHOOSE YOUR VOLUNTEER PREFERENCE - Summer
*Volunteer commitment is virtual for Summer 2021
  • Tutoring with a 4th, 5th or 6th grader (ONE): Two days per week, Mon-Thurs 12:15pm-1:15pm 



CHOOSE YOUR VOLUNTEER TIME
Midtown volunteers commit themselves to coming in person once a week for two hours:  30 minutes of ongoing volunteer training and 1.5 hours of tutoring and mentoring.
