Pre-Conditions for Product Recovery/Pigging System Implementation:
  • Consistent inner diameter throughout the entire pigging length
  • No sagging weld roots or misaligned joints
  • No installations. e.g. instrumentation inline
  • Standard pipe bends with small radii can be used
    • Advice: reduce the number of pipe bends!
  • Use pipe bends with limited ovality
    • Tolerance maximal ± 1.5% related to the outer diameter.
