Nearly 450,000 people in San Diego County do not have enough to eat. The CalFresh Challenge encourages you to experience what life can be like for many of our neighbors who rely on CalFresh to put enough food on the table with very limited resources.

In San Diego County, the average CalFresh allotment per person is only
$4.07 per day or $20.35 for 5 days.  

Walk in the shoes of someone on an extremely limited budget to help raise awareness to support the fight against hunger in our community.
