CONFIDENTIALITY STATEMENT, VOLUNTEER LIABILITY, AND MEDIA RELEASE WAIVERS FOR FAMILY PROMISE MONTCO VOLUNTEERS

STATEMENT OF CONFIDENTIALITY

Respecting the privacy of our clients, former clients, donors, members, staff, and volunteers, and of Family Promise Montco itself is a basic value of Family Promise Montco. 


Members of the Board of Directors, employers, and volunteers of Family Promise Montco may be provided with information which is confidential, privileged or proprietary in nature. Members of the Board of Directors, employees, and volunteers may not disclose, divulge, or make accessible confidential information belonging to, or obtained through their affiliation with Family Promise Montco to any person who does not have a legitimate need for the information. It is the policy of Family Promise Montco that such information must be kept confidential both during and after employment or volunteer service. Staff and volunteers, including board members, are expected to return materials containing privileged or confidential information at the end of their service.

  

Confidential information includes litigation, personnel actions, negotiation involving real estate transactions, personal information about program participants, and health status of employees; it may also include decisions of the Board of Directors, certain financial transactions and other corporate matters, as defined by the Board of Directors. Questions regarding confidentiality shall be directed to the President of the Board or the Executive Director. This policy is not intended to prevent disclosure when disclosure is required by law.


Board members, volunteers, and employees should exercise good judgment when discussing matters in public or when handling confidential documents.


Volunteer Liability Waiver

As a volunteer for Family Promise Montco, I agree to abide by all applicable rules and regulations of the agency. I understand that I will receive no monetary benefits in return for my volunteer service.
 
I understand that all information received during the performance of my duties must remain confidential. This includes all information about participants, families, employees, and other associate organizations.

I hereby Release and Waive liability against Family Promise Montco, a non-profit corporation, its directors, officers, employee and agents, its successors and assigns, for any injuries or illness that I myself or my dependent may suffer in connection with any volunteer work for Family Promise Montco. Further, I agree that Family Promise Montco is not liable for any damage to my property or my dependent’s property resulting from volunteer work for Family Promise Montco.

 

Media Release Waiver

I hereby give Family Promise Montco, their assigns, licensees and legal representatives the irrevocable right to use my name, interviews, quotes, picture, photograph, portrait, visual likeness, voice, and video in all forms and media in all manners, including but not limited to the website, social media sites, news outlets, and newspapers. The undersigned does hereby release Family Promise Montco, its successors or assigns from any liability, responsibility, damages, claims, and suits of right-of-action resulting from the reproductions of the undersigned’s media likeness and hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product that may be created in connection therewith.

INTERFAITH HOSPITALITY NETWORK VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Dinner Volunteers 
  • Needed evenings, approximately between 5:00pm - 6:00 pm.
  • Families and/or individuals bring a prepared meal for participant families.
  • Information about allergies and food preferences will be provided by coordinators.
 Transportation Volunteers 
  • Use Family Promise mini-van to drive participant families.
  • PA Individual Driver History (3-year record) must be on file.
  • Drivers must complete van log information during shift.
  • Times vary according to family needs.
  • Participant families will have their own car seats for infants and children.
  • All seat belt and car seat laws must be followed.
  • Additional rides may be requested by staff for guest appointments.
  Evening Helpers
  • Check in at host site to offer support to families 
  • Walk through to monitor building 
  • Host Coordinators may  designate tasks such as checking kitchen and bathroom supplies.
