The Spotlight Education Evaluator Team is comprised of artists with a strong educational theatre background who wish to use their skills to engage in Hennepin Arts' Spotlight Education initiatives.

New Evaluators: Writing Samples
If you are a new evaluator, please reach out to spotlighteducation@hennepinarts.org and we will provide you with a performance or technical writing prompt. Please let us know which prompt you prefer.


2026-2027 Evaluation Preferences
Spotlight Education evaluates both musicals and full-length plays. Please give us your preferences for evaluating school productions this year.
*Please note: Evaluators will receive additional compensation for time, mileage and hotel reimbursement when applicable. Spotlight will provide a hotel stay for evaluators traveling 120 miles or more for an evaluation in Greater Minnesota.

Evaluator Training
In order to evaluate in the 2026-2027 Spotlight Education season, you must attend training regardless of previous evaluation experience. Please register for one of the following evaluator trainings. A $50 honorarium will be given to each evaluator for training. 
If you cannot attend a training time listed above, please contact spotlighteducation@hennepinarts.org to inquire about training arrangements.
