The
SecDevOps@Cuse Cyber Range was developed in Syracuse, NY and publically deployed/presented to the BSides London Security Community in the first half of 2019. By December 2019, the Cyber Range was entered into the World's Largest Cyber Security Conference BlackHat, making an entry in the Arsenal/Tooling arena with multiple presentations security engineers across the world.
The goal of the Cyber Range project is provide an automated & disposable research lab with core technical learning across 4 enormously broad Cyber Security domains:
- Offensive Security
- Defensive Security
- Security Intelligence
- Malware Analysis & Reverse Engineering
The project itself encourages users to understand 3 technology domains: Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, & DevOps.
For Windows Licensing reasons the private amazon
images requires a registration. The images are available in us-east-1 and
eu-west-2.
The research lab provides a vulnerable yet safe, controlled, scalable environment for the most emerging cyber research & development.
