SFL Virtual Reading Groups give participants the opportunity to explore a set of readings on the intellectual underpinnings of a free society with an instructor who has expertise in the field and a group of similarly interested individuals from around the world. By creating a digital space for active and critical discussion, VRGs give participants a chance to achieve unusual depth and perspective. Groups are open to all individuals interested in expanding their knowledge through mutually beneficial dialogue. In order to allow everyone to get to know each other and actively participate, space is limited. We select for interest in both the subject matter and the conversational format.

Thank you for applying to participate in "Virtue Theory and Liberal Order," Virtual Reading Group, led by Dr. Aeon Skoble. We will meet over Google Hangouts every Tuesday, from June 25th to July 30th, at 11am EST  Attending every single meeting is not required, but active communication and participation is encouraged. Those accepted will be invited to join a Facebook group to further discuss the readings between, and after, meetings.
