Wheelchair rugby is the only full-contact wheelchair sport in the Paralympics and features a high-paced, high-energy environment. Volunteers will become part of a growing team and will play a key role as we continue to take our competitiveness to the next level! This is a 4-hour shift so please plan to arrive at 9:00 AM and stay until 1:00 PM. Job responsibilities include: - Assisting with unloading equipment and setting up before practice begins - Assisting with player transfers between everyday wheelchairs and rugby wheelchairs - Assisting with practice operations - Assisting with equipment repairs - Assisting with loading equipment after practice ends - Opportunity available for international referee certification (IWRF), if interested! Basic wheelchair maintenance and tire-changing skills are a plus! Instruction will be provided. **Please wear appropriate athletic attire including sneakers or other closed-toe shoes.**
