Current Volunteer Opportunities
Brisbane Kitchen
Kitchen volunteers help with a wide range of kitchen tasks – from dicing vegetables to packing meals. No formal training or professional experience is required. Please note that kitchen volunteers must be physically fit, and able to be on their feet for the duration of the shift (approx. 3 hours).

Brisbane Warehouse
Warehouse volunteers play a vital role in packing our FareShare meals for distribution and help with a variety of warehousing tasks such as processing incoming stock and general cleaning. It is a requirement for warehouse volunteers to have capacity to safely lift up to 12kg.”

Please note all volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.

Kitchen Shift Availability
Kitchen shifts are available at the following times:

Monday – Friday mornings (9:00am – 12:30pm)
Monday – Thursday afternoons (1:00pm – 4:00pm)
Friday afternoon cleaning (11:00am – 1:30pm)
Monday - Thursday evenings (6:00pm  9:00pm)
Saturday mornings (8:00am – 12:00pm)*

*Please note that we do not currently offer any weekend shifts. If you would like to join a weekend shift, please indicate below and we will be in touch when these shifts open.
