Safety Requirements
You are required to carry out the following as part of running a safe food business:
  • Traceability - You must record what food products are coming into your organisation
  • Allergens - You are required to inform your service users of allergens that may be in food products that you are distributing
  • Food Hygiene - You must maintain a high standard of food hygiene including temperature control and good food storage
  • Labeling - you are required to add a label to any food products that you freeze to inform the service users of when the products have been frozen and the new expiry date
