In place of the Praxis Core tests, Maryland will accept the following options from candidates:

GPA of 3.0+ from your most recently earned higher education degree (BA, Masters, PhD)
Qualifying scores from SAT, ACT, or GRE exams

In order to qualify for provisional licensure at the end of Pre-Service Training, the Nevada Department of Education requires proof of passing scores on the Praxis Core OR CBEST OR proof of exemption, no later than July 1, 2024.

To complete this enrollment task:

1. Carefully review this resource which includes three scenarios for demonstrating proof of exam passage or exemption.

2. Return to this page and upload documentation aligned with the scenario that best applies to you.

All information submitted by you in the TNTP Teaching Fellows application process is expected to be true and correct in all respects. If you submit information that is false or work product that is either not your own or without clear attribution to its sources, your application may not be considered, you may be withdrawn or discontinued from participating in the program (if your participation has already begun), and/or other appropriate action may be taken. In addition, you may be ineligible to reapply to TNTP Teaching Fellows.
