Online Code of Conduct Agreement

We are asking all participants to agree to our code of conduct. This is in place to keep everyone safe and working in a positive and supportive environment. We can’t wait to meet you.

Before joining an online session, I will make sure the space I am in is suitable, the background is clear, I am appropriately dressed and other people in my home are aware they may be seen or heard.

I agree not to share any information, passwords or links for any Benedetti Sessions to anyone else.

At the BF we believe in the highest level of respect for one another. I understand that any abusive or threatening behaviour online will result in my removal from the sessions live or in-person.

Online and In-Person Sessions Code of Conduct Agreement
The Benedetti Foundation requires the form to be completed for children and young people to access online and in-person sessions. If you do not complete this form, you will not be registered for the sessions.

Children/Young People: please read the following agreement and talk about it with your parent/carer

Parent/Carer: please read the following agreement with your child and ensure they understand it. Then sign it and submit it with this application form.

1. Please enter the full name of the parent/carer completing this form

2. I will be responsible for my conduct when attending sessions in-person, using Zoom or other social media websites. This includes the language I use when I talk and my behaviour in person and on camera.

3. I will be respectful at all times to other participants. If I experience intimidation or bullying directed at me or someone else, I will report it to the BF staff.

4. I will not send or share anyone any material that could be considered to be bullying, offensive or illegal.

5. For online sessions - before joining a session, video chat or rehearsal, I will make sure I am in a space with a clear background. For all sessions, I will make sure I am appropriately dressed.

6 . For online sessions, I will not deliberately upload, download or browse material that could be considered offensive or illegal. I will report this to BF if I accidentally come across such materials.

7. I will not give out my personal information or that of anyone else present in the live sessions whether in-person or online. This includes full name, phone number, address, email address and any other contact information.

8. I will not share any passwords or links provided to me by the Benedetti Foundation with anyone.

9. I understand that this code of conduct is in place to keep me and others safe. If I choose not to follow this, I know that I may be removed from the session and further Benedetti Foundation activity.

I give permission for Nicola Benedetti and the Benedetti Foundation to use any videos, photographs or recordings during this project (both submitted by participants online and at in-person sessions as taken by the Benedetti Foundation designated photographer/videographer).

Under data protection regulations you have the right to withdraw this permission to use video/audio featuring you or your child at any time. Please be aware however that it is not practically possible to remove a segment of audio/video from a compilation once it has been produced and distributed. For this reason, please consider carefully whether you are happy to give this permission before you tick ‘yes’
