Hunger Free Navigator Training Interest Form

The Hunger Free Navigator Program is a program for community based organizations and community residents who are interested in learning how to best connect people experiencing food insecurity to food assistance resources. The Hunger Coalition is offering two opportunities:

Hunger Free Nonprofit Navigation:
This 90-minute training is recommended for case managers, patient navigators, and resource specialists interested in better understanding food assistance resources available in San Diego County. This interactive training will increase participant understanding of food assistance resources, provide techniques to determine which programs are most applicable to individual households, and offer insights on the most effective ways to ensure connections result in access.

Hunger Free Community Navigation:
This program will be available to community members interested in learning more about food insecurity, available resources and how to best connect.  There will also be opportunities for participants to identify and address barriers to accessing food assistance programs.
