Placement Details

It is the responsibility of the student to seek out placement with a preceptor. The University has a small placement list of placements via a link in the study guide. Please confirm with a provider that you can complete a placement before completing the section below.

Please do not confirm dates with your preceptor yet, as it can take up to four weeks to complete the paperwork. Students completing the Immunisation (Nurse Immuniser) course have six months following course completion to complete placement.

Pre placement Compliance

Once you pay the placement administration fee, you will be enrolled to SONIA. SONIA is an electronic platform where you upload the details of your Nurse Immunisations etc. You must complete all SONIA requirements before you attend placement. While the pandemic continues you will need to complete a risk management assessment form which will be emailed to you when we complete the placement paperwork.
