Center Care Eligibility
At this time, you must currently reside in New York State in order to receive virtual counseling services.  If you do not currently reside in New York State, you will need to receive services in-person.
Housing
The Center does not offer on-site housing but can provide referrals and support around accessing affirming housing programs and services.

Relationship Counseling:
For Relationship Counseling, both partners will need to complete a separate intake, and then both partners will be assigned to one intake counselor.

Family Counseling:

This specialized short-term program provides counseling related to conflict, concern, or questions about Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Gender Expression, and is for parents, caregivers, and family members with LGBTQ+ children ages 5+.

All family members will need to complete a copy of this pre-intake form, as well as complete an intake session with an intake counselor at The Center.

Information about Alcohol and Substance Use Treatment Programs
Center Recovery offers morning and evening support groups and services to clients Monday through Friday, from 10 AM to 7 PM.

Center Recovery accepts Medicaid, including Managed Care Plans, and private insurance (currently Cigna, GHI, Aetna, Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield, Value Options, and CHCS) in addition to out-of-network reimbursement and sliding scale payment options. Length of treatment is assessed on a case-by-case basis but generally lasts 6-12 months, with the first three months being more intensive.

An intake, psychosocial assessment, medical assessment, weekly individual counseling, and group sessions (3-5 days per week) are required for all participants.
