Australian Progress proudly offers scholarships to organisers, campaigners, activists and other changemakers by reducing the financial barriers to individuals and communities with lived experience who require additional subsidies to participate in our events and training. This helps us to ensure more equitable access and diversity across the work that we do.
We welcome and prioritise scholarship applications from First Nations people, people with disability, people of colour, people with lived experience seeking asylum and unwaged changemakers.
To ensure our scholarships are offered to people who most need it, we prioritise scholarships for grassroots advocates, community groups and start-up/small organisations. People who are working in paid roles are encouraged to seek funding support from your organisation directly before submitting a scholarship application.
Scholarships are limited and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If you aren’t considered for a scholarship for your selected event/training, we may reach out for other future events and training.
