Putting Communities First

The Partnership for Public Service is excited to launch Putting Communities First, a new place-based program designed for federal employees who work with and support communities in the central California region. We are seeking applicants who are positioned to make an impact in their organizations and seek to better understand the communities and stakeholders they serve.

Putting Communities First participants will bolster their knowledge of central California and develop the skills necessary to build stronger, sustainable and more impactive partnerships with key stakeholders in the region. Through capacity-building exercises, case studies and community-driven conversations, participants will learn to work better alongside local and state partners to serve community needs and develop a renewed sense of public service.

We are offering this program at no cost to federal agencies.

Application deadline: Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 5 p.m. PDT

For additional information about the program, contact Senior Manager Lindsay Laferriere at LLaferriere@ourpublicservice.org or call 202-464-3091.
