To Access Services Online

After going to MyDHN.Online click Create New Account. You will then be asked to create a new account and complete your profile, which will take approximately six to seven minutes. You can begin applying for housing programs and services after you have completed your profile.

 

To Access Services Via Phone

You can call the Detroit Housing Resource Helpline at (866) 313-2520 and press #3 after choosing your language to speak to a housing specialist.

A housing specialist will ask you questions about you and your household and connect you to the Detroit Housing Network Member best suited to meet your needs.

The Detroit Housing Resource Helpline's hours of operation are:

Housing Counseling and Education

One on one meetings with housing counselors to develop a plan and budget that will help you reach your housing goals. Select this service to see types of Counseling.

Learning opportunities in a classroom setting where you can explore housing topics with a certified housing counselor. This includes homebuyer education workshops, a requirement of down payment assistance programs. Select this service to see types of Workshops. For some services, the Detroit Housing Network acts as an intermediary between you and the organization that provides the service. The Detroit Housing Network and its Members are not responsible for the approval, denial or other potential determination of your service application.

The Applicant(s) gives permission to the Intake Center to release the City of Detroit Single Family Home Repair Programs Application and supporting documentation to the CITY/LISC Detroit/Lender for the purposes of: 1) Obtaining a credit report in my name; 2) Verifying my income, asset and employment information; 3) Verifying any and all other information necessary to establish the Applicant(s) eligibility to receive assistance through the City of Detroit Single Family Home Repair Programs. The Applicant(s) understand that the information obtained will remain confidential and will be used solely for the purpose of determining eligibility to receive home repair assistance.
