Request for Pro Bono Legal Assistance
Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta (PBPA) assists qualifying
nonprofit organizations with their business legal needs.
In order to be a client of PBPA, a nonprofit organization
must have 501(c)(3) status, be located in or serve the greater Atlanta area,
serve low-income or disadvantaged individuals, and be unable to afford legal
services.
This form and the
required documents listed below will help PBPA learn more about your
organization and its legal needs. Given
our limited capacity, we cannot accept every applicant as a client. In addition to
our eligibility criteria, we
consider the overall sustainability of each organization. Please
note that PBPA does not assist individuals or for-profit organizations.
We also collect
demographic information in order to provide cumulative data to ratings
organizations, such as GuideStar, and grant-making organizations that request
such information. This information is not used to determine whether PBPA
will accept your organization as a client.
