Tell us your Memory Bump song and memory!

This National Playlist Day, join us by sharing a special song from your past and help us to raise awareness of the power of personally meaningful music for dementia.

Research shows that we create more memories between the ages of 10 and 30 than at any other time in our lives. This is called the Memory Bump🧠. Coupled with music's relationship with the brain, it means that the songs we listened to as teens and young adults become embedded in the memories of the most important people, places and events from this era.

What's your favourite song from your Memory Bump and what is the memory associated with it? We'll add all suggestions to a big National Playlist Day playlist and, with your permission, share your musical memories on our website and social media.
