Pontiac Promise Oakland Community College Scholarship Application

This application should be completed by SCHOLARS ATTENDING OAKLAND COMMUNITY COLLEGE ONLY!! Please upload the required documents (PDFs are preferred, however screenshots, images or scans will be accepted). 


Submitting incomplete or inaccurate documents will result in a delayed processing of your application! If you have any trouble submitting your documents with this form, please contact us at scholarship@pontiacpromisezone.org or 248-214-0456. 


IMPORTANT NOTE: PPZ & OCC have a special payment process, so students will not receive a Scholarship Determination Letter until mid-way through the semester. OCC will place a hold on students’ accounts to prevent deregistration from classes, until your PPZ scholarship is awarded. DO NOT PAY OCC UNLESS INSTRUCTED TO DO SO BY PPZ!

Financial Aid Award Letter: We need to know that you have applied for FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) or have received a financial award letter from your college in order for you to get our scholarship. Upload a screenshot or image of your financial aid letter. This applies even if you do not receive aid from FAFSA. (NOTE: DACA students will submit their signed PPZ FAFSA Waiver here instead.)
