I have personally struggled to find affordable places to live where my family or I would feel safe and supported. I know what it’s like to work in one area and be forced to live in another area because of my salary / wages / finances. People I know and care about have gone without safe housing or have had to work multiple jobs to get one. I can’t imagine struggling to find a stable home or having enough money for household expenses. I love my community and feel proud of the quality of life here. I want everyone to have opportunities for better education, health, and ultimately brighter futures because they were able to find and keep affordable housing for themselves and/or their families. I believe it’s my duty to help others in need. Other
