Thank you for your interest in the Weston
Charity Awards. We are looking for great charities working in the fields of
Community, Environment, Welfare and Youth from the North and Midlands of
England, and Wales. Award winners receive a place on the Pilotlight 360
programme and a £6500 unrestricted grant.
Pilotlight 360 works by
engaging with the CEO and the board over a 10 month period to support the
charity and its leadership to develop its ways of working and create robust
plans for the future. Projects are most successful when there is stable
leadership for the duration of the project and commitment from the board and
leadership team to fully engage. Meetings take place monthly, are a mix of in person
and online, and on average a programme requires one day a month from the
charity leader. We expect that a member of the board also attends one in four
meetings. Applicants will need to be able to meet in person for four of the ten meetings, including one charity site visit and three meetings in Pilotlight's London office.
