Retail Ready Application
Retail Ready by WINS provides training and work experience to enable Albertan
women to find and maintain employment within the retail industry. It is a
client-centered program that seeks to address and support the holistic needs of
the individual. The intent is to provide experiential learning that fosters
personal empowerment and values based on professional development through
classroom and on the job training that will lead to life and work success!
Currently, Retail Ready is only accepting applications for our Glenbrook location. Please note, this program is not gender specific and open only to individuals ages 18-29.
Retail Ready is a 6-week program:
- 4 weeks of in-class
instruction and store training
- 2 weeks work internship in a
WINS Family Thrift Store
- 60 hours to be completed
within this time frame
NOTE: Participants are
expected to attend and complete the entire 6 weeks in order to obtain their
Certificate of Completion
