Community of Practice Agreement
Please note
that by signing up to a Community of Practice you are confirming that you have read and
understood the Community Rules, Etiquette, and Privacy Guidelines.
If you're interesting in signing up for more than one Community of Practice, please submit a separate registration for each.
Required:
·
Contributing
time and expertise by actively participating in the Community of Practice meetings.
·
Respecting Textile
Exchange values (integrity, respect, inclusive community, learning, and
collaboration) in all Community of Practice activities.
·
Familiarizing
with the Textile Exchange Climate+ Strategy.
·
Non-disclosure
and confidentiality of shared information within the group and compliance with
all applicable antitrust and anti-competitive laws, including, without limitation:
o
Treating
any information that is shared as part of any Community of Practice meeting or activity
in accordance with the Chatham House Rule. (Participants are free to use the
information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the
speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed.)

None
of the information shared as part of the Community of Practice may be used to cause
competitive injury or disadvantage to another member, participant, Textile
Exchange, or the Community of Practice.
·
Abstaining
from any conversations or activities that may restrict competition or set
prices.
·
Refraining
from using any information obtained through the Community of Practice, other than to
advance the objectives of the Community of Practice and in no event to disparage Community of Practice members, their products, practices, businesses, or their reputations.
Non-Mandatory
but Highly Encouraged:
·
Become
a Textile Exchange member.
·
Contribute when
possible to Community of Practice Hub discussions.
·
Commit
to measuring progress towards the Climate+ Vision by sharing impact and
volume-related data (e.g., through Textile Exchange’s Corporate Fiber Materials
Benchmark and/or Preferred Fiber and Materials Market Report data collection
process).
·
Collaborate
with others on joint projects.
