TEXT SUBMISSION

Word Counts are as follows Half page: 130 words, not including the name. A Full page is 280 words, not including the name. A Two-Page spread is about 350 to 500 words, depending upon the number of photos. (This option has more flexibility. You can adjust the word count, depending on the number of photos.)

Please note, word counts will be strictly enforced and include all words (a, and, the, but, etc.) within the text.

Proof-read and double-check all writing before submission. Editorial changes cannot be made to the text once approved by Girls Inc.

PHOTO SUBMISSION

Photos must be high-resolution jpg files. The file size will be at least 1 M. . The preferred format is a jpg, however we can sometimes use tifs, eps, psd file formats. All photos will be converted to black and white. All photos must be at least 300 ppi and 5x7

Photography usage includes possible usage on GISF websites, GISF social media, news media distribution, GISF-produced digital and print marketing collateral (brochures, pamphlets, flyers, and other materials), GISF-produced digital and print marketing signage including banners and posters that carry no placement costs. Excludes usage for paid ad placements in any form including print publications, online ads and outdoor/indoor media.

"I would be delighted to photograph the portraits for the Girls Inc project. Typically I come to the subject’s home and this session takes about an hour. This also allows for outfit changes, and we utilize both outdoor and indoor locations. The cost is $375. The photography fee is $200 per hour and $175 for the processing, color corrections, touchups, online gallery, and unlimited license usage. These portraits would be of a higher caliber than just shooting off the cuff.
