Careers Plus - Work Experience Opportunity 2023

Thank you for filling out this application form to apply for a work experience with our partners, as part of the Careers Plus programme. The deadline to apply is Friday 14th April at 5pm.

Once applications have closed, we will be in touch by early May to let you know whether you have secured a placement.

All placements will take place in London with travel and accommodation organised and provided free of charge by the programme.

Hogan LovellsPlacement details: Monday 4th - Friday 8th September 2023

Join us for a 5-day placement, where you'll develop a deep understanding of our bold and evolving approach to creating valuable global solutions, as you learn from a network of global lawyers who will encourage you to see things differently. Through case studies and networking, you'll get to discover the interests that drive you, enhance your skills and develop the commercial edge that sets us apart. It's a good opportunity to meet our partners, trainees and internal networks to understand what life at Hogan Lovells is like.

Memery Crystal
Placement dates: Monday 4th - Thursday 7th September 2023 OR Monday 11th - Thursday 14th September 2023

During the Careers Plus work experience opportunity, you'll get an insight into working life at a leading law firm, gain the experience and skills needed to apply for internships and graduate roles, all while building a professional network. We'll also run a variety of interactive sessions including CV and application advice, and legal skills workshops.

Mishcon de Reya
Placement details: Monday 11th - Friday 15th September 2023

Our placement will give you a deep insight into the legal industry and explore the working life of a solicitor. You'll have the chance to be allocated a supervisor and sit within one of our departments: Corporate, Employment, Real Estate, Dispute Resolution, Innovation and Mishcon Private. You can expect getting involved on typical trainee tasks, talks from fee-earners across the firm and hearing about practice areas such as MDRxTech and Mishcon Purpose. After the week, you'll develop commercial awareness, interpersonal skills and an understanding of the application process for becoming a solicitor.
