Living well with neuroendocrine cancer - the early years: a Group Therapy Programme

8-Week Group Therapy Programme In association with Rareminds

This “living well early years” group therapy programme has been specifically developed for those who were diagnosed with a neuroendocrine cancer more than 1 year ago, but less than 3.

NB. we have separate, but similar, programmes for both family & friends or those diagnosed more than 3 years ago. Details of which are on the support section of our website.

If you have been newly diagnosed, less than a year ago, we recommend speaking with either one of our specialist nurses and / or a member of our counselling team on a one-to-one basis.

This ‘early years’ programme is a bespoke group therapy programme, which involves a combination of information and group discussion on themes such as; adjusting to a ‘new normal’, managing uncertainty, fatigue and / or anxiety, coping with family and relationship dynamics, making the most of appointments,

and managing your medical team.

Over the 8 weeks there is an opportunity to explore common themes, safely and confidentially, to discuss practical and emotional coping strategies - and meet online with others in a similar situation,

all from the comfort of your own home or personal space.

Please be prepared to commit to the full 8 week programme - though we are fully aware sometimes the unexpected can happen to change plans.

Sessions will be facilitated by a group therapy and neuroendocrine cancer experienced counsellor from Rareminds: our counselling and therapy service team.

There will be a maximum of 12-14 participants per programme

Please complete this application form to register your interest in taking part.
