Thank you for your interest in 'They Call Me Dad' and our GBTQ+ Family Workshops. Best Beginnings wants to support every child and every family on their journey together. 'They Call Me Dad' will deliver GBTQ+ specific content across all of our media, including our award-winning Baby Buddy app, giving personalised information up to a child's first birthday.
The Family Workshops will be an opportunity for GBTQ+ families to come together, share experiences and make connections. Throughout the day we will be collecting your views and experiences to inform the content we make. To thank you for attending the workshops we are offering an incentive of £40 per workshop, which you can choose to receive as cash, a Love2Shop voucher, or donate back to our charity.
We are interested in hearing from GBTQ+ Dads and intended Dads, wherever you are on your parenting journey. Our ideal participants will either be parenting a baby/child under 5, or have done so in the past, but we recognise that this is not the experience of every GBTQ+ family.
Information about you and your family
We know that many GBTQ+ people will have experienced trauma and discrimination. With that in mind we would like to assure you that any participation you choose to make in "They Call Me Dad" can remain anonymous. We also have mental health support available to participants.
Information shared here will be used for internal processes only. We are asking the following questions to ensure we allocate spaces evenly across the community. We want to include as many families as possible, but spaces are limited.
