Safe Bay Volunteer Sign Up

Safe Bay is a secure overnight parking space for people living in their vehicles. 

Volunteers work alongside a Chum staff person to offer hospitality to our guests. Volunteer duties include light cleaning, assisting with intakes, serving coffee, managing shower sign up lists, and generally being a welcoming and friendly presence. Volunteers are needed every evening and early morning from May 1-October 31. Volunteers must be 18 years or older or be accompanied by a legal parent/guardian, complete a background check, and participate in volunteer orientation. A weekly or biweekly commitment is preferred.
