Fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas cause dangerous climate change, which is already harming Australians. Our organisation is dedicated to protecting the health and wellbeing of all our stakeholders, advancing environmental sustainability, and living our values.

We pledge that we will not enter into sponsorship arrangements, take funding or any in-kind contributions from coal, oil and gas companies and will not permit the use of their logo on any of our promotional materials.

Where we currently have sponsorships with fossil fuel corporations, we will cease these at the end of the current contract term. We commit that we will not enter into new sponsorship arrangements with fossil fuel companies in future, and will transparently disclose all sponsorship arrangements on a regular basis to demonstrate this. 

Safeguarding health and wellbeing

The health and safety of our stakeholders, including [e.g. athletes, artists, performers, event participants, spectators, staff and volunteers] is our top priority. We also seek to protect the health and wellbeing of the communities we operate within. By refusing to accept sponsorship from fossil fuel companies, we aim to protect our stakeholders from the negative effects of climate change and contribute to a healthier, safer environment for all.

We recognise that climate change represents a significant threat to Australia’s natural environment and the long-term, sustainable use of our shared natural resources. By refusing to accept sponsorship from fossil fuel companies, we demonstrate our commitment to stewarding Australia’s environment for future generations.
