Thank you for volunteering to support the Indy Schools K-8 Schools Fair at Global Village Welcome Center (4233 Lafayette Road) on June 3. Lunch will be provided!
More information about each of the volunteer categories:
- Bag Stuffer: This is for TMT staff only and will involve stuffing swag bags in the office during the workday on either Monday, May 29th or Tuesday, May 30th.
- Cleanup/Teardown: People assisting with this position will be moving tables and chairs and getting the venue cleared after the event.
- Floater: Floaters will support with as-needed activities, such as lunch for vendors, one-off requests, etc.
- Host: Hosts will be responsible for answering attendee questions about event details and flow and helping guests navigate the venue.
- Lead Volunteer: These people will support the event coordinator prior to and during the event, making sure all needs are met.
- Raffles: This volunteer will support Radio One with raffle prize announcements during the event.
- Registration/Check-in: These volunteers will support in getting guests registered as they walk in, distributing swag bags to attendees, and counting the number of attendees.
- Traffic Control: These volunteers will direct the flow of vehicles for parking and control traffic for cross-walkers.
- Translator: These volunteers will offer bilingual support to families.
You will receive an email with details about your volunteer assignment and more instructions for the event closer to June 3.
