BMC and Graduate Medical Education (GME) are committed to creating and sustaining an inclusive workplace where everyone is valued and engaged. We recognize that creating and maintaining a workplace that meets our inclusion goals means providing support and guidance to Residents and Fellows with concerns witnessed or experienced in the workplace. To support this commitment, specially trained GME DEI fellows serve as a resource to the GME community at BMC.

This form is for our BMC GME community including Residents and Fellows, to reach out to report concerns and request support and guidance from a DEI Fellow.

BMC Resident or Fellow

This form is for BMC Residents and Fellows to reach out and report a concern or request support from a DEI Fellow. Any request to connect with a DEI Fellow will be responded to promptly.


If your concern requires immediate action, please escalate to available onsite resources including your Program Director, Attending on call, Chief Resident, or Public Safety (ext: 4-4444)

Program Director/Administrator

This form is for Program Directors to reach out and report a concern within their department, or request support from a DEI Council Leader.

Any request to connect with a DEI Council Leader will be responded to promptly.

GME DEI Fellows and Council Members

If you are not a member of the GME DEI Council, please return to the previous question and select your appropriate role. 



GME DEI Fellows and Council Members, this form is to report any concerns brought to you by Residents/Fellows. All concerns will be tracked to ensure actions have been taken towards resolution, and to be used in aggregate summaries to identify key themes.

 

Reports submitted will be reviewed and responded to within 48 hours. You will be communicated with to confirm submission of the report and asked for clarification or follow up if needed. If the concern you are reporting needs immediate attention, please refrain from using this process and refer to the DEI Fellow provided resources for a list of immediate support including onsite leadership and public safety.
