To qualify for an income based rate, participants must provide proof of income. Acceptable forms of income include: 

• Most Recent Tax Return (Form 1040, not your W2). For events after April 2024, please submit your 2024 Tax Return (i.e. 2025 Richmond Marathon applicants need to submit 2024 tax returns).

Other accepted qualifying documentation: 

• Verification/Eligibility letter from Social Services (EBT, SNAP, TANF, Energy Assistance Benefits, Medicaid, etc.)
