This free program will be available in three language-based cohorts: English, Spanish, and Portuguese. 

We are currently enrolling for an English language cohort only.  

(Look for more information soon about Spanish Language and Portugues Language Cohorts that will take place in the Spring 2024.) 

Classes will run for 10 weeks (2.5 hours/week) and will provide basic resources and training for you to start your own business. Upon acceptance, you will be paired with a mentor and will be provided with an Entrepreneurship Tool Kit (including a laptop).  You will be required to attend 25 hours of in-person fundamental small business training.  

To help offset barriers to participation, participants will receive a stipend of $750 to help cover the costs of transportation, childcare, etc. Stipends will be distributed as debit gift cards in three payments across the duration of the program.  

To qualify for the English Language Cohort: 

You must demonstrate proficiency in English 

You must live in Somerville, MA 

You must have immigrated to the United States
