How to save your form

PLEASE NOTE: save your form before starting your application and after editing it. Failure to do so will result in any information inputted being lost.

You can save your application at any time by using the 'Save my progress and resume later’ option that appears in the top right or bottom right of the screen. You can save and come back to your form as many times as you need to before you submit it
  • Tick the ‘Save my progress and resume later’ box at the top of the page.
  • Fill in your email address and a password.
  • Click ‘Save’.
  • A new page will appear giving you the option to ‘Resume this form now’ or ‘Start a new form’.
  • You can bookmark the page and go back to it later.
  • You should also receive a Form Notification email containing a link so you can return to your application later

Continuing a saved form
  • If you’ve bookmarked the link to resume your form, open that webpage and click on the link at the top of the page that says ‘Resume a previously saved form’. 
  • Or open the Form Notification email you were sent and click on the link.
  • Enter your email address and password.
  • This will return you to your form so you can carry on filling it in. 

After submission
Once you have submitted your application it will need to be checked and endorsed by your institution’s Research Office. On submission, an email will be sent to a predesignated address we have agreed with your research support services. It is not possible to enter an alternate email address.

The RO approval process must be completed electronically before the closing date of 5pm, 6th December 2023. 

Allow at least 5 working days for the Research Office to check and endorse your application. If the Research Office opts not to endorse your application, you will be notified by email and invited to make amendments and resubmit for approval.

The Trust will not accept proposals that have not been endorsed by the applicant’s Research Office.


Editing a form after submission
Once submitted you can no longer edit your form. If you need to make changes, and your RO has not yet approved the application, ask your RO to reject the endorsement request. Once your application is endorsed by your RO, it is no longer possible to make any changes. Do contact the Trust if this problem occurs.
