Children in Middle and North Georgia are removed from their homes every day because of abuse or neglect. Too often, these kids have to carry their belongings to their foster home in a trash bag.

Our Diocesan Youth Commission needs your help to provide First Night Bags — backpacks stocked with care items — for these kids. We've estimated a cost of $25/bag and want to give 500 bags to kids in foster care across Middle and North Georgia. Your donation matters!

Our students will assemble these bags at the 118th Annual Council (Nov 8-9) at Holy Innocents' Episcopal School. Students (grades 6-12) and chaperones are invited to The Overnight @ Annual Council lock-in to help lead the adult delegates in this project (register for TOAC here).

If you have never-used backpacks or care items (toiletries, coloring materials, children's books, pajamas, socks, a blanket, or stuffed toys) to donate, please email Holle Tubbs at htubbs@episcopalatlanta.org.
