2024 Rising Tide Wellspring Awards Nomination

Nominate the mikveh leaders in your community! At the 2024 Rising Tide Gathering, the open mikveh movement will honor individuals and organizations who embody our shared values. We will celebrate those who act as wellsprings, bringing healing waters to Jewish communities around the globe. Nominations are due by March 1, 2023.
  • Mikveh Guide – This person embodies the spirit of Mikveh Guiding. They transform the ordinary into the holy, and they show up for others with compassion and radical hospitality as a loving witness to transition, transformation, and renewal. 
  • Mikveh Educator – This person spreads the magic of mikveh through their innovative teaching. They are a skilled educator who empowers others to embrace this ancient ritual through inclusive and accessible education.
  • Mikveh Mobilizer – This person mobilizes people and resources to support the open mikveh movement. They may be a creative fundraiser, an inspiring organizer, and/or a thoughtful facilitator who brings community members together around the ritual of mikveh.
  • Clergy Member – This rabbi, cantor, or other Jewish clergy member is a mikveh ambassador through and through. Mikveh is at the core of their practice and presence, and they provide ample support, wisdom, and energy to their local mikveh initiative and global mikveh movement.
  • Community Partner – This organization embodies the value of shutafut, partnership. They offer meaningful resources, collaboration, and mutual support to the open mikveh movement. Their work in the community helps to provide for the spiritual needs of the full diversity of the Jewish people.
