DRAFT: London New Worshipping Community Grant Application Form

All grants from the London New Worshipping Communities (LNWC) grant fund must be aligned with the priorities of support described in the Grant Making Policy of The Gregory Centre for Church Multiplication (CCX) and fulfil the charitable purpose and objectives of the charity. The LNWC Grant fund is specifically intended to progress the priority of supporting the advancement of the Christian faith in the Diocese of London through starting new Christian worshipping communities intended to reach new people with the love of God in Christ. Grants are awarded by The Gregory Centre for Church Multiplication registered in England 14429617 with charity number 1201506. Located at The Old Deanery, Deans Court, London EC4V 5AA.


Applications for funding up to £10,000 are welcomed from parishes, organisations and individuals involved in church planting or other models of starting new Christian worshipping communities within the Diocese of London who meet the criteria, including:


  • The successful completion of the appropriate CCX training for the type of work being undertaken (e.g. Plant Course, Pioneer School, Become, Myriad) with a positive recommendation;

  • All information and documentation required on the application be satisfactorily completed, submitted and fulfilled;

  • Supporting documentation that the grant requestor has the support of the appropriate diocesan authority (e.g. Area Bishop and Archdeacon) to engage in the work described in the application.

CCX may take up to 60 days to consider grant proposals and decide if they will award a grant or not. All decisions regarding funding applications will be done in accordance with the CCX Grant Making Policy. CCX may (in their absolute discretion) refuse to approve a grant application if they consider that a grant would not be an effective way to further the Objects or would conflict with the policies or interests of CCX.


Each LNWC grant request or situation will be considered on its own merits. The decision of CCX on whether to award a grant is final and CCX is not obliged to provide an explanation to applicants in the event that their application is not successful.
