Youth Ambassador Program

Welcome to the Youth Ambassador Program!

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Youth Ambassador for The Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power & Potential (GCAPP).

As GCAPP's Youth Ambassador, your passion for adolescent health and well-being will allow you to be a leading voice for positive change across Georgia.

Benefits:

  • Leading Youth Voice: Serve as the prominent youth advocate for adolescent health and well-being throughout Georgia.
  • $2,500 Post-Graduation Scholarship: Secure your future with a $2,500 scholarship, to use for college or post-graduation plans. (Funds will be provided upon graduation)
  • GCAPP Empower Party: Invited as a special guest to speak at GCAPP’s exclusive EmPower Party hosted by Jane Fonda, GCAPP founder and Hollywood legend. (Two seats provided)
  • 1 ON 1 Coaching: Gain invaluable insights with personalized coaching from leading professionals who will work with you to enhance your skills and knowledge. Personal quarterly meeting with a member of GCAPP’s Board or Executive Leadership Team.
  • Leadership and Public Speaking Opportunities: Develop your leadership and public speaking skills through various opportunities.
  • Priority Seating/Reservations: Recognized at all GCAPP events as the GCAPP Youth Ambassador and reserved seating, ensuring you’re at the forefront of impactful discourse and initiatives.
  • GCAPP Clothing/Swag: Receive exclusive GCAPP clothing and swag.

Responsibilities:

  • One-Year Commitment: Dedicate one year to the role of Youth Ambassador, fostering continuous engagement and impact.
  • Youth Empowerment Summit (YES!): Actively lead and participate in the Youth Empowerment Summit, contributing to the development of empowering initiatives.
  • Panelist and Media Spokesperson: Share your insights and experiences as a panelist on webinars and at events focused on adolescent health. Serve as GCAPP's youth spokesperson for media interviews.
  • Media Presence: Willing to be highlighted and profiled in GCAPP media, including e-newsletters, brochures, flyers, social media, etc.
  • Social Media Responsibility: Utilize your social media platforms, and encourage YAC members to utilize theirs, to raise awareness and engage with the community about GCAPP’s programs/services/events/tools/activities that promote the health and social well-being of youth in Georgia.
  • YAC Liaison: Serve as the Youth Advisory Council (YAC) Liaison, actively contributing to the growth and success of YAC initiatives.
