Thank you for your interest in serving as an Appellate Panel Judge for Discovering Justice's 2024 Mock Appeal Program Culminating Event. As a panel judge, you will sit with a state or federal judge, listen to students' oral arguments, ask questions to test students' understanding of the case, provide feedback, and render a decision with your panel. As an appellate panel judge, you will use your legal expertise to directly benefit local students and create a positive Mock Appeal culminating event.

A small celebration will follow the Appeal where you will have the chance to meet with fellow panel judges, students, legal mentors, teachers, parents, community leaders, and Discovering Justice staff.
By completing this form, you are registering to be a volunteer judge on a 3-person appellate panel. Moot court or appellate experience is not required.
