St. Lawrence College Research Ethics Committee for Psychology Application Webform

Welcome to the St. Lawrence College Research Ethics Committee for Psychology (REC-P) web form. Use this form to submit:

a New Application to the REC-P.
a Revised Application to the REC-P (after the REC-P designated your previous submission “pending” or the Research Office designated your previous submission "not ready for review")
a Request for Amendment to an already approved project.
a Project Termination Form, indicating your research is complete.

Before you start

The REC-P webform must be completed in one session. Partially completed forms cannot be saved. To apply, you will need:

A signed and completed application form (i.e. REC-P Application Form; Request for Amendment Form; Termination of Project Form)
The student researcher's name and email address
The faculty supervisor's name and email address
The SLC-REC-P file number for this project, if we have provided you with one via email (i.e. NOT NEEDED if submitting a REC-P application form for the first time)
The following supporting documents, as applicable to your specific submission. We accept Word or PDF formats.

Consent, Assent, and Letter of Information Forms, compiled in one document.
Study instruments and data collection tools (e.g. interview guides, surveys), compiled in one document
Recruitment materials (e.g. telephone scripts, posters, social media posts), compiled in one document.
Any other supporting documents, clearly labelled and compiled in one document.
