MTN SME Support Programme

The MTN Ghana SME Support Programme is a legacy project of MTN Ghana as part of its 25th-anniversary celebrations, managed by the Innohub Foundation. The project aims to create sustainable livelihoods, employment, and economic opportunities, especially for women, youth, and PWDs through training and incubating 500 young persons across Ghana over a 5-year period with practical businesses for implementation. 

The projects target is to support 100 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) annually in 3 categories namely:

  • Women-led businesses (36 and above)
  • Businesses led by Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)
  • Youth-led businesses (aged 18 - 35),

In its inaugural year, the project provided technical and financial support to 140 businesses in the Greater Accra, Ashanti, and Western regions, including support for 50 youth-led businesses, 51 enterprises led by differently abled persons, and 39 businesses led by women in the informal sector.
