Koreatown Storytelling Program Application

Thank you for your interest in the Koreatown Storytelling Program (KSP)! Through this opportunity you'll learn about storytelling, oral history and community journalism and have your work published in print and online. The 2024-2025 cohort of KSP will begin in September 2024 and conclude in February 2025. Our focus for the 2024-2025 year is on connecting with and collecting the stories and experiences of the Traditional Healing Arts in our Koreatown community.

Requirements:

All applicants must be high school students (Grades 9-12) during the 2024-25 year.
All applicants must be willing to commit to weekly 2-hour meetings, attend all program activities and assignments, and complete the full program from September 2024 - February 2025 with breaks for holidays. (Tuesday afternoons 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.)

NOTE: Your formal application to KSP is considered complete only when both this application form AND the pre-program survey have been completed.

Final applicants will be selected for virtual interviews in August 2024 and the program will start in September 2024.
