1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By using Early Matters San Antonio Registration, you agree to be bound by the version of the Terms of Use then in effect. Visitors to Early Matters San Antonio (“you”) can determine whether the Terms of Use has been modified since your last visit by checking the “Last Updated” legend posted at the top of the Agreement. If at any point you no longer agree to the Terms of Use, please arrange to cancel your membership of Early Matters San Antonio by notifying Early Matters San Antonio and/or discontinuing your use of Early Matters San Antonio.


2. PURPOSE OF Early Matters San Antonio

To help families identify their public school district or local charter schools, Early Matters San Antonio will send emails, with district information, including area districts with open enrollment and charter school links, as well as reminders on what to do to support enrollment in pre-kindergarten programs in San Antonio. Participant information will also be shared with partner school districts to provide free support with enrollment. This is a free and optional program that is being offered to families in Bexar, Comal, Medina, Kendall, Guadalupe, Atascosa counties powered by Pre-K 4 SA

The Site provides links to other websites and resources. Because Early Matters San Antonio has no control over these sites and resources, you acknowledge and agree that Early Matters San Antonio does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for any content, advertising, products, or other materials on or available from such sites or resources. Early Matters San Antonio is providing these links to you only as a convenience. Early Matters San Antonio has the right, but not the obligation to block links or users from or to Early Matters San Antonio at any time.

Our team protects all participant and partner information with the highest security, and we are committed to ensuring personal information provided to us is handled with confidentiality and care. I understand that my responses and the other data collected will be stored according to strict confidentiality policy established by Early Matters and Pre-K 4 SA.

  • Help connect you with others to enroll in high-quality early childhood programs and to solicit volunteers, donations and support for Early Matters San Antonio and for issues and organizations that we support;
  • Monitor and analyze trends, usage and activities in connection with our Sites;
  • Personalize and improve the Sites and provide advertisements, content or features that match user profiles or interests or that are based on the information you provide or the actions you take; and
  • Carry out any other purpose for which the information was collected.
The Early Matters San Antonio is based in the United States and the information we collect is governed by U.S. law. By accessing or using the Sites or otherwise providing information to us, you consent to the processing and transfer of information in and to the U.S. and other Countries.

How is the information we collect stored securely?

Early Matters San Antonio/Pre-K 4 SA stores and processes data within a secure Salesforce database platform located in the United States. Salesforce is a globally recognized company for customer relationship management (CRM) products and services with a high degree of trust in data security and privacy. Data shared with school districts is shared through a secure file-transfer process (SFTP) as designated by that school district in a way that meets both their data security standards and the data security standards of the Early Matters San Antonio team.

While we are committed to providing the highest level of protection and security with your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security of any information stored in partner school district systems. Please refer to the specific school district privacy policy for more information on their processes. If your data is ever accessed by an unauthorized individual, you will be notified as required by state and/or federal law.

Who do we partner with for data sharing?

In the interest of supporting families with enrollment in high-quality early learning programs, child care, and Pre-K, we partner with school districts for data sharing. Our school district partners include but are not limited to: San Antonio ISD, South San ISD, Southwest ISD, Edgewood ISD, Harlandale ISD, East Central ISD, Alamo Heights ISD, Boerne ISD, Comal ISD, Judson ISD, Medina Valley ISD, New Braunfels ISD, Northeast ISD, Northside ISD, SCUC ISD, Somerset ISD, Southside ISD


CONTACTING YOU

We will primarily be contacting you via email. By signing up, and giving use your email address, you agree to receive emails from us. You may receive between 2-5 emails from us a month, but, email frequency will vary based on user needs. You may unsubscribe from email communications by clicking “unsubscribe” in the footer of the email and following the instructions.

WE MAY SHARE INFORMATION ABOUT YOU AS FOLLOWS OR AS OTHERWISE DESCRIBED IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY:

  • With vendors, consultants and other service providers or volunteers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf; 
  • With organizations, groups or causes that we believe have similar viewpoints, principles or objectives or share similar goals and with organizations that facilitate communications and information sharing among such groups;
