Youth Group Agreement
Field Day
July 16, 2024
Field Day is an event for 14-24 year olds hosted by the Lake Sammamish Urban Wildlife Refuge Partnership and Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust. The event will take place on Tuesday, July 16, 10am-4pm, at Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah.
Youth Group leads participating will:
- Invite youth from their program to participate directly in this field day.
- Provide pre-event information (required waivers, what to expect for the day) to youth participants in their program.
- Provide event organizers with an estimate of # of youth in their group.
- Provide on-site support and supervision of their youth group during the event.
Youth participating in the program will:
- Learn about environmental careers related to outdoor recreation, water systems, fisheries, and habitat restoration.
- Practice ways to take action in your community & career.
- Meet with local environmental professionals to learn from their career journey.
