Specialties 

Please select up to six (6) specialties from the list below. You may enter up to two (2) additional custom specialties in the fields at the bottom of the list.  The ABAA reserves the right to combine or edit custom specialties for clarity or to avoid redundancy.

Booth Selection

ALL BOOTHS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INVENTORY: 
  • One 8’ high back wall drape and 3’ high side rail drapes
  • One custom booth sign with name of bookshop, location (city and state or country), and booth number
  • Two folding bookcases
  • One power outlet, wastebasket, “Booth Unattended” sign, and bottle of glass cleaner and paper towels
10x20 AND 10x15 BOOTHS INCLUDE: 
  • Two 6’ tables (draped on 3 sides)
  • Three chairs
10x10 BOOTH INCLUDES:
  • One 8’ table (draped on 3 sides)
  • Two chairs
NOTE: Shared 10x15 and 10x10 booths include the inventory listed above, and booth partners will share the inventory.

All exhibitors will be charged applicable booth fees payable to ABAA ($300 per booth) and to ILAB (2.5% of booth fee). 

The applicant must comply with all applicable California state and local tax requirements, etc., and all applicable ABAA and ILAB rules and regulations.

(All advertisements are black and white except for the back and/or inside cover pages)
Prices are for camera-ready artwork only. If you would like the Fair Management graphic designer to create your ad, design fees can be quoted. If artwork requires special handling, electronic manipulation, film work, or reductions, then additional charges may be incurred.

NOTE: All advertisements are subject to approval by the ABAA/Book Fair Committee.
ADVERTISEMENT SPECIFICATIONS
• Please provide artwork via email or hyperlink
• Artwork and layouts are acceptable as hi-res PDF, JPG, EPS or TIF files
• Fonts must be embedded or outlined
• Interior ads are black and white; cover ads are CMYK

Terms & Conditions
Payment
In US Dollars to ABAA - Upon submission of this form, exhibitors will receive an invoice via email. Check, ACH payment, and wire transfer at exhibitor's expense. Credit card payments will be charged a 5% service fee. 

All applications are date-stamped when received. The booth lottery is scheduled for October 2024. Only exhibitors who submit their completed applications with deposit by October 15, 2024 will be included in the lottery. All booth assignments will be available at cabookfair.com after the lottery. At that time further information (shipping, booth diagram, etc.) and booth equipment rental items will be available online. 

EXHIBITOR CANCELLATIONS: Prior to October 15, 2024 deposit is fully refundable. After
October 15, 2024 deposit is non-refundable. On or after January 6, 2025 no refunds of deposit, fees, equipment, etc.; all invoices must be paid in full. 

Exhibitors must insure their own property against the risk of theft, fire, burglary, breakage, leakage and water damage, and the risks of transport to and from the Pasadena Convention Center. The ABAA, and/or the Pasadena Convention Center, shall not be liable to the exhibitor, its  employees, agents or representatives, or any other person for injury, damage or loss whatsoever, arising from any cause whatsoever. The exhibitor agrees to indemnify and hold the ABAA harmless from and against any claims whatsoever for injury, loss or damage resulting from any action or omission of the exhibitor or its employees, agents or representatives.

JANUARY 6, 2025.
