Student matinees include priority seating, a post-performance discussion with the cast, and a sense of community among the audience. You are encouraged to select a student matinee performance for your field trip date. In the event that your group cannot attend the student matinee, please
consult the season calendar
and list up to three options for an alternative performance date.

PRE-SHOW INSIGHTS
A Roundabout Teaching Artist will lead a conversation with your students prior to the performance to give them relevant context and insider insights into the production and answer questions.
(Rate for Non-Partner Schools: $175)
POST-SHOW INSIGHTS
A Roundabout Teaching Artist will facilitate a discussion following the production to give your students an opportunity to reflect on the show's themes, ask questions, and learn more about the theatre-making process.

CUSTOMIZED WORKSHOP
Participate in a workshop designed specifically for your group. Roundabout Teaching Artists will plan and facilitate a workshop for your group that explores the production’s themes and the skills of a theatrical discipline such as acting, directing, design, or playwriting.
(Rate for Non-Partner Schools: $450+)
POSTCARD PRODUCTION WORKSHOPS
Participants experience the process of creating a theatrical production as they fulfill the roles of set, costume, light and sound designers, stage managers, director, actors and marketing staff. The workshop takes participants through a truncated and quick-paced rehearsal and design process using an excerpt from the show they will attend and culminates with their realized interpretations of the show.
