2024 Go! Summit: Community in the Communion: Nourishing Lives, Healing History, and Building Healthy Partnerships

EDA Comms

Join us we explore the importance and transformative power of partnership. We will discuss the historic imbalances of power within the Anglican Communion and the vital need for partnerships across the Communion that are equitable and based in relationship rather than ego. We will also discuss how our Diocese is putting these ideas into action as we mend the wounds of history and to develop relationships with our fellow Anglicans around the world, most notably through the establishment and maintenance of a companion relationship with the Diocese of Cape Coast, Ghana. The goal of this conference is to not only educate attendees on important aspects of global mission, but to also offer ways for people to get involved. To that end, our speakers will include Beth-Sarah Wright, who will be discussing the Dignity Sewing Ministry in partnership with the Diocese of Cape Coast, and Terry Franzen, who will be discussing the development of her organization Haiti Companions. Tickets are $10 and include a light breakfast and lunch.
