About the Resiliency & Recovery Fund 

Through the Resiliency & Recovery Fund, we will support AANHPI-serving nonprofits that are building resiliency to continue to meet the needs of AANHPI communities. These capacity building grants can support efforts such as, but are not limited to, staff hiring, salaries, retention, leadership development, fundraising, board governance, technology upgrades, infrastructure, succession planning, strategic planning, improved program delivery/evaluation, HR management, and other capacity building and sustainability related areas.  
Eligibility 
  • Must be an APF affiliate network member or a fiscally sponsored project of an affiliate.
  • Capital projects are not eligible. 
Selection Criteria

Proposals will be evaluated on:
  • Statement of Need- Proposal demonstrates why capacity building efforts are a priority and how it will strengthen the organization.
  • Effectiveness- Objectives are clear, thoughtful, strategic, and achievable within the given grant period and budget.
  • Impact- Outcomes and measurements of success are clearly defined with sound methodology of evaluation.
Priority will be given to organizations that haven’t previously received APF funding in 2024.
